FAQ's

1. Is it a single day event?
    The online prelims will be conducted for 2 hours. A participant can only attempt the next question if he answers the current question correctly, or forfeits it.

2. Who can participate?
    The event is open to all college students across the world. Team of 2 should be there.

3. Do we need to be a pursuing a computer science course to take part?
    The event will comprise of questions based on cryptograpy, web hacking, application hacking and the like. As such, computer science majors, will be at an advantage.

4. Do we need any special tools/softwares?
    Nothing except a working mind. Anything else you need, will be easily available online.

5. Is it a real-time hacking event?
    The event is an online test with a variety of questions ranging from simple riddles and HTML hacking, to steganography and application cracking. Hacking into computer systems is not a part of it.

6. What are the rules for this event?
    1.Register in teams of 2.

    2. Enter your user name and password.

    3. There are a total of 10 questions in the online prelims.

    4. The questions carry 2 points each.

    5. Solve the questions to move to the next question.

    6. Top 20 teams get to play the online final.

    7. In case of a tie the team which logs out first gets a winning edge.

    8. The top 4 teams from the online finals get entry to the onsite finals directly.

   Participants who try to hack into the server will be disqualified.
